Art isn’t just something you see—it’s something you feel. Inspired by the tradition of handwritten notes and personal connection, I created this business to honor the special moments that bring us together. Because in a world of texts and notifications, choosing a hand-painted card is a thoughtful and intentional experience - you’re sending a lasting memory, a tiny treasure, a piece of joy.

It all started in the whirlwind that was 2020. Searching for a way to stay connected, I began sending snail mail to friends across the country. I wasn’t just mailing letters—I was curating an experience. I wanted each card to bring a smile before it was even opened, to be a little burst of joy in the mailbox, and a moment to hold onto.

Sitting at the dining room table at a 2025 New Year’s Day brunch, I shared my story with a stranger I’d met a mere 20 minutes prior. We talked about the card I’d painted for the hosts, and she asked where I was selling them. In that moment, I’m not sure who made the better face - me shocked, saying “there’s no way people would actually pay for this” or her, convinced her new friend is literally delusional. We talked about my vision, my reservations and very lengthy list of non-negotiables. I finalized the instagram handle right then and there. Using my maiden name and a nod to a traditional greeting card sign off, Yours Truly was officially born.
